FTL on BBC podcast for parents
The BBC have been running a number of Bitesize programmes during the coronavirus pandemic. This series has covered a number of issues relating to parents with young children, older children and children who are LGBT+. FTL were invited to participate in that particular episode. The young people who were interviewed showed great strength of character and articulated brilliantly the issues that they face in the world by presenting as LGBT+. The drag queen Divina de Campo, who used to be a teacher, is both entertaining and forthright and spoke eloquently about life as a gay person. Divina appeared in the recent series RuPaul’s Drag Race. FTL’s contribution is about twenty minutes into the half hour programme.
